Let exploration stay fluid
Use conversation to compare options, test assumptions, and expose missing information. Keep raw brainstorming light until there is something worth maintaining.
When a decision, requirement, procedure, or verified finding becomes part of the current work state, give it a visible home in the Workspace. Temporary reasoning and superseded drafts can remain in the thread history.
Continue the current owner instead of making a copy
Before creating a new page, look for the Project or document that already carries the topic. If it exists, continue there and review the change in context.
A good owner shows the current state, the evidence behind it, and what could change it. This gives people and AI one reliable place to resume instead of several almost-identical pages.
- Identify what changed in the current state.
- Find the existing Project or document that owns it.
- Review the proposed change, especially numbers, permissions, and commitments.
- Confirm the document now reflects the current state and link related sources where useful.
Keep the path and the current state
Threads are useful history: they show questions, tradeoffs, and the path to a decision. The maintained Workspace shows what is true and useful now.
Keep both connected. Use the thread when you need the path, and the current Project or document when you need to read, edit, share, or continue the work.
